Installation paths: Android, iOS, and web
We at btc99 support three installation methods. Android users download our APK file directly from our platform (no Google Play store), install it from the Downloads folder, and log in within seconds. iOS users open Safari, navigate to btc99.app, add a home-screen shortcut, and access the same account with no separate app download needed. Desktop and tablet users access the web interface through any modern browser—Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
Each path leads to the same account. Your email, password, and KYC verification are shared across Android, iOS, and web. If you log in on your phone in the morning and switch to your desktop in the afternoon, your balance, transaction history, and open positions remain exactly as you left them. Logout is optional; we maintain a secure session that expires after inactivity, protecting your account from unauthorized access on shared devices.
Step-by-step installation on Android
- Download the APK: Visit btc99.app on your Android phone, find the Android APK download link, and tap to begin the download to your phone's Downloads folder.
- Install from Downloads: Open your file manager, navigate to Downloads, locate the btc99 APK file, tap it, and select "Install" when prompted about unknown sources.
- Create or log in to your account: Open the btc99 app, enter your email and password, and complete two-factor authentication (SMS code to your registered mobile number).
- Explore your dashboard: Once logged in, you see your balance, recent transactions, live football markets (Liga 1, Piala AFF, Champions League), live-dealer tables, slots (Aviator, Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus), and esports competitions (Mobile Legends, Free Fire, PUBG Mobile).
Why the btc99 app outperforms the browser
Our native Android app and optimized web interface each have advantages. The Android APK offers local caching: your balance, recent games, and account settings load instantly, even if your network drops briefly. You receive push notifications about live-game starts, withdrawal approvals, and suspicious account activity—all delivered in real time without requiring the browser to be open. The app uses less bandwidth than the web version and works smoothly on older phones (Android 7+) where browser performance might lag. Installation takes under two minutes, and uninstalling is just as simple if you ever need to remove it.
The iOS and web interfaces, accessed through Safari or any browser, require no installation and work on any device with internet connectivity. They always run the latest version automatically—you never need to manually update. Browser access is ideal if you switch between devices frequently or want to avoid storing an app on your phone. Both paths are equally secure: we encrypt your login credentials, payment information, and transaction data the same way regardless of which interface you use.
Device compatibility: what you need
Android devices running version 7.0 or later can install and run the btc99 APK. Most phones sold in the past seven years meet this requirement. If you're unsure, open Settings → About Phone and look for "Android version." iOS users need Safari on iOS 12 or later (released 2018) to access btc99 through the browser; you don't need to install anything. iPad, tablets running Android, and desktop computers all support btc99's responsive web interface. We support landscape and portrait orientation on phones; the layout automatically adjusts based on your screen size and rotation.
Troubleshooting common installation issues
If your Android phone refuses to install the APK, you likely need to enable "Install from unknown sources" in Settings. Go to Settings → Security → Unknown Sources (or Similar Sources, depending on your Android version) and toggle it on. Then retry the APK installation. Some phones show a warning that "the app may harm your device"—this is a generic caution for any non-Play-Store app; our APK is verified and safe. If you see a certificate warning, your phone's date/time may be incorrect; check Settings → Date and Time and ensure both are accurate. If the app crashes on launch, clear your phone's cache (Settings → Apps → btc99 → Clear Cache) and try again. For iOS, if Safari fails to load btc99.app, clear your browser's cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data), then reload the page.
Account security and data handling on your phone
When you log in to btc99 on your phone, we encrypt your session with SSL/TLS protocol—the same encryption used by banks. Your password is sent only once during login and is never stored on your phone in readable form. Your KYC documents (ID photo, proof of residence) remain on our encrypted servers; they are not downloaded to your device. Your transaction history is synced to your phone for offline viewing, but it's still encrypted. If you lose your phone, your account remains secure: a thief cannot access it without your password and two-factor SMS code. You can change your password and disable two-factor authentication from another device immediately.
We request minimal permissions on your Android phone: network access (to connect to our servers), permission to send push notifications, and optional access to your phone's camera (for KYC document upload). We do not access your contacts, calendar, photos, or location. When you log out or the session expires, all cached data remains on your phone but is encrypted and useless without your password. You can clear the app's cache anytime from your phone's Settings.
Our mobile app is built on the same security infrastructure as our web platform—encrypted sessions, two-factor authentication, and instant logout on suspicious activity.
